This stunning vintage late 1980's David Hayes fuschia and green polka dot skirt suit originally sold at Saks Fifth Avenue for $1670. We fell in love with the quality of the pieces and the gorgeous saturated prints! We often see David Hayes outfits in our higher end estates and we believe that his pieces will start to become very collectible, especially as quality is sadly disappearing in fashion.
The base color of the fully lined silk jacket and skirt is fuschia pink and the polka dots are green. The fabulous silk blouse has the reverse color palette. The buttons on the blazer are gold tone with a green center stone and the shoulders are nicely structured with shoulder pads. There are two functional pockets on the jacket with a box pleat seam down the center.
The semi sheer blouse is so modern and would fit into any contemporary wardrobe! This lovely to has a rounded neck and flowy balloon sleeves. The top has a center back seam metal zipper with a button closure. This set has a green and purple polka dot scarf that can be worn at the neck, on your handbag, or even as a head scarf.
The skirt is a classic pencil skirt style with a narrow waistband and a flat metal hook and eye and center back metal zipper for closure
This 4 piece set was made in Italy, and it still has its original Saks Fifth Avenue tag. Labeled size 10, and we estimate this would best fit a modern day US size 8/10.
