This 1980's vintage Patrick Kelly dress can easily fit into a modern wardrobe! The dress is in a black wool jersey with a gorgeous pink color block flounce hem. The dress has a perfectly fitted body, dolman sleeves and a keyhole opening below the tie at the neck. We have this same Patrick Kelly dress in black and orange from the same estate and both dresses were barely, if ever worn!
This dress slips overhead with no closures and hugs the body in just in the right places with the colored portion being more free flowing like a flounce or ruffle. Patrick Kelly made his name in the 1980's with fashions that were inspired by the fashion conscious women he saw at his home church growing up in Vicksburg, Mississippi He often used unique colors, ruffles, buttons, dolls, hearts, and other playful elements in his designs. He died at the young age of 35, so we weren't able to enjoy his amazing talent long enough, but when we are lucky to come across his pieces, we always add them to our collection!
We love that this dress can easily go from day to night with the right shoes and accessories! The size of this dress is adjustable from 2-6, because the fabric has stretch and the oversized bodice allows for a wide range of bust sizes.
WAIST: fits a size 24-26"
