This vintage black wool cutaway tuxedo style Escada coat was designed by Margaretha Ley in the late 1980's. This double breasted blazer has black silk pointed lapels and a single breast pocket. The body of the blazer is shorter in the front and longer in the back and shoulders are nicely structured with shoulder pads. This gorgeous jacket closes with dome shaped shiny black flower buttons which are also found in the back and on the cuffs.
Made in Germany of 100% New Wool. Second fabric which is for the lapels is 65% New Wool 35% Silk.
Labeled size 40, and we estimate this would best fit a modern size 10 or M.
