This pretty black cotton vintage skirt was designed by Giorgio di Sant'angelo and is embellished with colorful sequins and trimmed at the hemline with black lace and embroidered ribbon. The bold print has gorgeous purple and blue flowers with green leaves against a black background.

The skirt was purchased at I Magnin in the 1980's and has its original striped blue and silver metallic sash style belt. This full, easy to wear skirt has side slit pockets and closes with hooks & eyes. 

A Coty award winner, designer Giorgio di Sant' Angelo was known for his ethnic-inspired designs and for using fabrics and styles that reflected the bohemian hippie culture of the era. di Sant'angelo was probably most known for his unique use of knitwear which became his signature look.
