This long silk skirt is from the estate of outstanding designer vintage clothing from the 1940s through the 1970s. This must have had a jacket, sweater, or top that completed an ensemble, as the skirt only has the label "front" and no other labels are found.
The skirt has a side zipper with a snap and hook and eye, and is lined with both a fine layer of black organza and beautiful aqua silk.
This outstanding vintage full length silk skirt is from an estate of nothing but exceptional designer vintage clothing from the 1940's through the 1970's. The woman who owned the clothing hardly if ever wore anything she owned and her closets read like a who's who of fashion. It is impossible to describe how beautiful this is - this particular estate had clothing by Valentino, Chanel, YSL, Ceil Chapman, Clare Potter, Givenchy, Nina Ricci, and many other high end mid century designers.
I was hoping to find out ore information about this skirt but have not come up with anything. Definitely designer quality in construction and fabric and in mint condition!
Please use the measurements as a guide but I would estimate it to be a modern day US size 6 - the waist is 26" and it is 44" long.
