Description
The color and beautiful delicate patterns are what we love about this beautiful 1930's silk kimono! Originally sold at Gumps in the 30's, this beautiful long kimono is a more of a wearable style, with jacket sleeves instead of traditional kimono sleeves.
It is a lovely pastel seafoam green/grey, with red/orange and deep navy details. It is 90 years old but looks entirely contemporary! We love kimonos worn as robes, or as long jackets. We have shown this one styled with bike shorts and our vintage Alfa Romeo tee to show how a kimono can elevate even the most casual ensemble!
While we try to offer vintage items in as perfect condition as we can, this kimono unfortunately has some signs of wear. It has color bleed in some areas, as well as a few small holes. It is also missing the loop to the frog closure in front. The other half can be removed and worn as an open robe, or tied with a ribbon! We did our best to include photographs of the damage, and have priced it accordingly.
In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
