Description

This stunning vintage Dynasty maxi dress was made in Hong Kong in the late 1960's or early 1970's. The dress is sleeveless and has a slit to the top of the hip. It was originally meant to be worn over trousers or slacks and you can pair it with any pair of slim black pants or loose silk pajama style pants.

The fabric is similar to a raw silk or textured rayon, but there is no content label, and the dress is beautifully quilted. It has psychedelic circles and shapes, in bright golds, greens, purples, blues, pinks and oranges quilted with black thread. The long side slits reveal the beautiful rich salmon lining.

We love these Dynasty vintage tunics at Dressing Vintage and love to pair them with different things to make them contemporary! This gorgeous dress came from the estate of a California female judge who is now 93 years old. We are very fortunate to have acquired her collection of designer pieces which we will be unveiling over the summer.

Excellent condition with one small spot that isn't noticeable when worn! Marked as a vintage size 10, but by the measurements we estimate this to fit a modern day US women's size 8. Please use the measurements to determine fit!

BUST: 38"
WAIST: 34"
HIPS: 40"
LENGTH: 58"
SIDE SLITS: 39"

In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
