Description
For those of you who are familiar with Modig, you might know how obsessed we are with Yves Saint Laurent. When we found this vintage Rive Gauche logo tee, we knew we had to add it to our collection! We have never seen this particular t-shirt and it is so cool! The white cotton shirt features the recognizable red and pink YSL Rive Gauche logo. If you love vintage fashion and definitely if you love YSL, consider adding this fabulous top to your wardrobe! We think it's very special and would love to see how you would style it - we can think of a million ways!
On September 19, 1966, Yves Saint Laurent made history as the first haute couture designer to launch a ready-to-wear boutique in France. The new line was called; Saint Laurent Rive Gauche. YSL wanted to bring a modern identity to the line and drew inspiration from the boldness and enthusiasm of Parisian youth culture. Located in a former antiques shop on the Seine's left bank, a popular area for local students, the store was designed to differentiate itself from the much more formal couture salon. YSL used a vibrant red & pink square logo to distinguish the Rive Gauche line, capturing the attention of a new clientele and embodying bold youthful energy. Rive Gauche was a huge success and we totally understand why!
In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
