Description
This is a pair of antique shoe buckles in their original Saks Fifth Avenue leather crocodile embossed jewelry box. These are truly spectacular examples of antique shoe buckles! One pair has large inset faceted crystal baguettes surrounded by small rhinestones. The other has a mix of rectangular and round rhinestones with delicate openwork. Very early Saks Fifth Avenue collection!
Both sets are in a curved silver metal, and they measure 2.5"x2" each. They have a 1.75" belt opening in the back.
Condition:

Replacements made: I believe, but am not certain, that a few rhinestones might have been replaced . Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses.One of the large crystals is a little loose, and it is missing 2 rhinestones.
- The box itself is in poor condition - it has a lock in front but is missing the key (it can still open and close) and the back has separated along the entire back seam.
