This late 1930's or early 1940's dainty faux tortoise hair clip is really lovely! It has a butterfly bow shape that is curved. The back has comb teeth so that it grabs onto the hair easily. The closure is a hinged stick that inserts into a C clasp. The vintage plastic resembles a red amber and the barrette is in very good condition with minor wear to hinge, which is a little loose. A great way to add vintage into your life!
