This is a fabulous vintage 1980's 2 piece spring/summer weight wool outfit from Opus 204 Seattle. This outfit is in a lightweight black wool and includes a single button open front jacket and a pair of high waisted, wide leg cropped pants. The jacket has a collar and slits up either side. The pants have a comfortable fit with an elastic waist. Both pieces can be worn together, or as separates! Both pieces are unlined.

Vija Rekevics opened Opus 204 in Seattle in the late 1960's. The clothing from her boutique that was highly coveted for its quality and forward thinking style. The fabrics she used were ultra fine and her linen and wools were particularly exceptional. She and her designer partner Gwen Howell created a somewhat modern Japanese aesthetic that was rich looking but easy to wear.
