Description
This vintage Isaac Mizrahi dress is from the F/W 1994 runway show that was featured in the designer's documentary "Unzipped". This mossy green faux shaved beaver strapless dress is shown on the original runway with over the thigh boots and a faux fur jacket. We are also showing it styled on our model with a belt.
Isaac Mizrahi loved faux fur and like another one of our favorite designers, Geoffrey Beene, he loved using non traditional fabrics in unexpected ways. You can wear this dress in the day, or you can accessorize it for an evening out!
Excellent Condition
We are presenting a private collection of vintage Isaac Mizrahi runway pieces from the 1980's through the early 2000's. Isaac Mizrahi is such a uniquely original American designer and his vintage pieces are becoming more and more collectible. It's hard to price these for re-sell at such low prices because we know how high the original prices were! During the 1990's, Mizrahi clothing was made of the finest fabrics and often with couture techniques. When Isaac Mizrahi worked for Perry Ellis in the 1980's, Ellis called him Yvesaac, after Yves Saint Laurent, and we can definitely see why!
In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
