From his first trunk show at Bergdorf Goodman in 1987, Mizrahi made a name for himself as “the rising star of Soho.” Chanel bought a stake in Isaac Mizrahi in 1992 and for 6 years, they bankrolled the company. From the start, until having to close his eponymous line in 1998, Mizrahi took full advantage of his access to some of the finest materials and craftspeople in the world.
He has since invented and reinvented himself as a designer and businessman throughout the 2000s, but our Isaac Mizrahi Collection focuses on those early pieces. It showcases the unique eye, daring inspiration and technical prowess of Isaac Mizrahi.
