Description

This unique 1930's wedding gown is absolutely stunning. Bias cut vintage ivory silk wedding dress with alternating ribbed stripes of satin and sheer fabric across the shoulders, back, and forearms. It has voluminous leg of mutton sleeves and includes the original fabric belt. It snaps into the dress in front and on the side, to keep it in place, then the end of the belt goes through the buckle and snaps to itself on the other side.

There is a panel of slipper satin fabric that drapes asymmetrically off of the back like a mini train, adding movement and drama to the dress. This is a classic, beautiful shillouette with gorgeous details that make it truly unique and stunning!

Minor imperfections consistent with age, but in general, excellent condition. Fits like a modern size 2/4, please use the measurements below to ensure the perfect fit, or make an appointment to try on in our studio in Portland, OR.

A very similar style 1930's wedding gown was worn by Kate Moss for The Golden Age Of Couture party at the Victoria & Albert Museum on September 18, 2007 in London! Unlike our beautiful dress, hers tragically ripped throughout the night.
