This vintage 1950's skirt was made in Mexico and is such a fun piece to brighten up your wardrobe! The skirt is in a full circle shape so it has a lot of volume! The skirt design features matadors and bulls in bullfighting scenes on a purple watercolor background. Pair it with a cropped top or a simple tee shirt for an easy instant outfit!

The circle skirt was inspired by Dior's 1947 New Look Bar Suit with the full skirt and cinched waist. In the 1950's, women all around the world wanted a version of the skirt and the ones made in Mexico at the time were created with an American market in mind. The designs usually featured iconic Mexican themes and Aztec inspired geometrics. These skirts would have originally been worn with petticoats to emphasize the fullness.
