Early 1960's vintage skirt and Jacket suit ensemble from Bill Atkinson. This is a wonderful 2 piece suit in a fabric that almost looks like polished denim! The jacket has a corduroy collar, fab metal closures that are reminiscent of Bonnie Cashin but with a Bill Atkinson unique twist, side slit pockets and a side zipper.
The slim skirt has metal belt loops (but no longer has a belt), a side zipper and side slit pockets. This outfit comes from the estate that also had many vintage clothing pieces from Bonnie Cashin and Claire McCardell, as well as many other of the most important American mid century designers. Mint condition. We estimate this would best fit a modern 6/8.
