This is a gorgeous hand embroidered dress originally from Mexico or Central America. It is a navy blue cotton with colorful embroidered wild flowers across the bustline and cap sleeves, as well as across the back and down the front in a long rectangular panel.

The neckline and cuffs of the sleeves are finished with natural embroidered yarn. The wild flowers are yellow, marigold, red, white, purple, red orange and green vines and leaves. There is a small horizontal stripe on the top of the bust with teal embroidery and little stick figures wearing pink dresses. The embroidered section is backed with cotton, but the rest of the dress is not lined.

In good condition, with some slight color fade at the shoulder and on the skirt and a few loose threads. Not noticeable when worn.

Estimated size: can fit a range of sizes from XS-L, but the gathering would hang most naturally on sizes 4-8
