From the beginning of his career In the 1970's, he has inspired and worked with other fashion designers and fashion icons. Azzedine Alaia joined Mugler in the 70's, and in 2009, Mugler served as Artistic Director for Beyonce’s ‘I Am? World Tour’, designing all of the costumes.
