Description
This is an exceptional jacket designed by Alexander McQueen for his Spring 2009 collection. This black silk cutaway style tuxedo jacket with tails was made in Italy and is labeled a size 40. The jacket is short in the front and has no closures and then has a long "tail" in the back. There are wonderful, unique structural details throughout and the luxe fabric is 100% silk with 74% Acetate 26% Silk blend lining.
This jacket is a wonderful example of McQueen's attention to detail and it would make a perfect addition to any modern wardrobe. It's hard to see the way it moves in the still photos, but the pretty ivory lining shows just enough with movement. We have documented this piece and are showing it in a photo as worn by Olga Sherer on the runway for Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2009.
