This is an absolutely gorgeous 3 piece ensemble that came from an estate of a 93 year old retired California judge. We were fortunate to be able to acquire her estate of designer clothing and are so honored to be able to offer it on 1stdibs this summer. She had incredible taste and a great eye for fashion.
This 2 piece outfit is so much prettier in person than it is in the photographs, and we especially love the kimono style sleeves on the blouse. This creamy ivory silk ensemble has an abstract black leaf pattern and a tone on tone pattern across the fabric that resembles an animal print. Both pieces are lined in luxurious white silk.
The top has kimono sleeves and buttons down the front. The skirt is high waisted, and the matching fabric tie can be worn as a belt. The top would make a beautiful jacket separate from the skirt!
We love selling vintage clothing because the quality can't be matched today and at Dressing Vintage we value natural fabrics and wonderful craftsmanship. Many of the pieces made for high end department stores like I Magnin were made as well as the prominent designer pieces at the time!
Excellent condition with just one very faint (unnoticeable) spot found.
We estimate the outfit to fit a modern day size 8/10.
