We love this vintage 1960's diamond print brown wool dress from Marjorie Montgomery. This mid century rayon lined vintage dress is an excellent for the fall and winter. The colors of the diamond pattern are all earth tones: brown, greyish blue, tan, and black.
The dolman style sleeves are elbow length. There are two different style belts that come with this dress. One of the belts is a fabric cord with two large yarn pom poms. The second belt is fabric covered and more traditionally structured. There is a metal zipper down the center back seam with a hook and eye closure at the top. The waist is gathered at the sides and flat in the front and back. This dress is a midi length and the fabric feels like a wool knit.
We estimate this would best fit a modern day size 8/10, but please review the measurements provided. Take a similar garment you currently own and lay it flat to measure, then you can compare the measurements between the two.

We lay all garments flat and measure as follows*:

BUST - under arm to under arm across the front and then double that measurement. |
Measure the WAISTBAND, widest part of the HIPS, widest part of the THIGH on one leg and width of the CUFF, then double those measurements |

WAIST - find the smallest part of the garment if there isn't an obvious seam for the waist and measure across and then double that measurement. |
LENGTH - Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the cuff along the side seam. | |
| HIPS - Find the largest part of the hip area and measure flat, then double that measurement. | RISE - Measure from the crotch to the top of the waistband. | |
| LENGTH - from the nape of the neck or the top of the shoulders, depending on the style of garment.
