This 1940's long dress is somewhere between periwinkle and lavender crepe silk like fabric, and has beautiful, delicate beading on the breast pocket. It closes with metal flower buttons down the front and a zipper that starts at the waist and goes halfway down the skirt. This dress has long sleeves that cuff at the end, and small pleats at the waist and down the front of the skirt. It has adorable little shoulder puff pads.
This dress is in great condition, but looks to have been stored in sunlight by the previous owner. The shoulders have some fading, as well has the skirt in places.
We would estimate this dress to fit a modern day US size 8.
