Suzy Perette Vintage Little Black Dress
This timeless Suzy Perette vintage dress is from the 1950’s and is one of my favorite little black dresses! This sexy little form fitted vintage wiggle dress is made of a beautiful black silk and is fully lined and closes with a back middle zipper. I particularly love the neckline and the V shaped fabric that buttons at the bottom.
This dress is another one from an outstanding estate of vintage clothing and accessories I acquired that I consider to be the best of my career. The woman who owned this dress should have been a designer herself as she understood what looked good on women and purchased only the finest European and American designer clothing from the 1940’s through the 1970’s. She was particularly fond of mid century American designers including Claire McCardell, Norman Norell, Ceil Chapman and Geoffrey Beene, but also had a very impressive collection European designer clothing including Hermes, Nina Ricci, YSL and Valentino.
I would estimate this to be a modern day US size 8 but encourage you to use the measurements as a guide for the best fit.
BUST: | 38" |
WAIST: | 28" |
HIPS: | 38" |
LENGTH from top of shoulders: | 42" |
In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
