Description
This is a rare vintage Maud Frizon Paris leather belt with mini chain metal tassels in alternating shades of bronze and silver. Made in Italy.
Maud Frizon is a talented French fashion designer who was originally known for designing women's shoes. In the 1960s, she was a fashion model for several Haute Couture Houses including Nina Ricci, Jean Patou, and André Courrèges. In those days, models had to provide their own shoes to wear on the runway. Frizon decided to create her own and she later opened her first boutique in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of Paris in the late 1960's.
Maud Frizon, some would say, was the Manolo Blahnik of her time and used only the best materials for her designs. This vintage belt is such a great example of her unique talent to mix unique materials!
CONDITION: Very good - minor glue residue on inside (minor)
LENGTH: Total Length: 33"
LENGTH to holes: 25,26, 27 and 28"
