This is an elegant vintage Helen Morley designer evening gown that was purchased at Bergdorf Goodman in the 1990's. This beautiful dress has incredible guipure lace over the bodice, on the sleeves and horizontally alternating with the solid black satin.
Helen Morley was born in England and graduated with honors from Oxford University with a degree in in politics, philosophy and economics. She then switched gears and decided to pursue her lifelong passion for fashion. After attending the London College of Fashion, she relocated to New York, and she started her own fashion label in 1993. She was one of the first designers to introduce a strapless wedding gown and she is most known for her elegant evening gowns, made of the finest fabrics and lace trims.
This dress is in excellent condition.
