We love this simple and sleek black rectangular French hair barrette from the late 1970's! It is a glossy black material that is slightly textured and fairly light weight. The base of the barrette is metal and made in France. The clip itself is curved.

The top is in excellent condition, the barrette arm has a bit of corrosion.
