Description
This is a sensational vintage evening dress designed by Bill Blass in the 1970's. The dress has luscious layers of black dot netting over black silk taffeta. The gown is fitted at the waist and has its original black silk belt and includes little velcro attachments for a seamless look.
The full skirt has 3 layers of the same dot net fabric for extra volume and black satin ribbon trim at the hem. The dress has an illusion nude bodice and sheer sleeves with 2 layers of mesh. There are darts at the inner parts of the arm for easy bending of the elbow and darts at top of shoulders. There are zippers at cuffs with metal hook and eye closures. It closes with 7 buttons down back and metal snaps all the way down for closure.
Condition: Overall Very Good - There are a couple of small holes in the mesh on the shoulders in the back (could be repaired) and we found a few scattered holes when going through the 2 layers of mesh - not noticeable at all when worn. There is a small pull of fabric on the left sleeve.
In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
