Description

This is a fabulous vintage Sonia Rykiel reversible jacket with a detachable hood. This coat is quilted on both sides, with one side in red and the other in black. The shawl collar and rolled cuffs beautifully reveal the contrasting reverse color. We especially love that this incredible coat has a hood that zips inside of the collar!

We love designers who blaze their own train and Sonia Rykiel was a true original. Fun fact; Rykiel was the first designer to put seams on the outside of garments, now known as "deconstructed" fashion!  She was also the first fashion designer to print words on her sweaters. Sonia Rykiel opened her first shop on rue de Grenelle in Paris in 1968 and she became an influential designer who has inspired many generations!

Excellent condition - Materials/Care label is faded.

In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
