Description
This is an outstanding Yves Saint Laurent vintage Haute Couture 1987 pink leather jacket with dyed black fox fur trim. This coat was featured on the YSL runway and is a rare piece of fashion history but super wearable and contemporary looking now!
The label on this coat was removed, but the original owner confirmed it is couture YSL, and we have been able to document it in the Haute Couture 1987/88 Autumn Winter collection. This coat has shoulder pads, side slit pockets, and beautiful black quilted lining that was used by YSL throughout this collection.
Overall Excellent Condition- two small darker pink spots on the left shoulder, one on the front and one on the back, each about 1/8" diameter so very small
This front is open so this can fit a variety of sizes - the front edges meet at 44" and it was originally designed for an oversized fit. The fit depends on how oversized you would like to wear the coat - it would be very oversized on a Small, moderately oversized for a medium and more closely fitted for a size large.
BUST: Front edges meet at 44"
LENGTH: 34" from nape of neck
SHOULDERS: 17" from seam to seam across the back
SLEEVE LENGTH: 24" from end of shoulder pad
FUR: 6"
In order to best determine fit, measure yourself or a garment of a similar style that fits you well. Compare those measurements to those on the item description.
