Gianni Versace Couture dress from the Autumn/Winter 1998/99 collection. This was Donatella Versace's second collection after her brother Gianni's death, and it served as her tribute to him. We have included a photo by Steven Meisel from the original campaign, as well as a photo still from the runway.
This stunning femme fatale dress has a square neckline with a slit in the center. It is perfectly fitted with slight stretch and a built-in boned bustier that is connected at the top of the bodice and zips separately in the back. The long sleeves are slightly flared and the dress hits about mid-calf. The fabric is a blend of nylon, rayon and silk. There is a hidden zipper closure in the back and this stunning dress was made in Italy.
This dress is in excellent condition.
